       PIANO LESSONS FOR KIDS IN KITCHENER:

Private/group piano and guitar lessons are offered by 7 teachers - and are tailored to the students individual needs!
Lessons may include activities/games/visual aids/incentives to motivate students to keep practicing. curriculum includes but not limited to RCM repertoire , in addition students are encourage to explore other genres of music - rock, pop, jazz, spiritual, contemporary, blues etc. students also have the opportunity to perform together in ensembles. 

LENGTH : Private Lessons are usually 30 minutes for beginner to Grade 4. Lessons for intermediate students studying Grade 5 & beyond are 45 minutes. Group lessons are half an hour in length for beginners and run for 16 weeks. 

EXAMS :
While exam preparation is optional, the teachers do take pride in preparing many students for exams every year. We choose to use Royal Conservatory as the examining body.   We pride ourselves on our students accomplishments in exams -  the average mark of students on piano exams of all Grades is  87% with 97% being the highest mark and the highest theory mark was 99% with the average being 95%. 

RECITALS :
The studio offers many recitals throughout the year. Being a member of KW-ORMTA, Fiona also offer students the opportunity to participate in the KW-ORMTA recitals, masterclasses and workshops.

KIWANIS MUSIC FESTIVAL :
 Interested students are prepared for the Kiwanis Festival in spring every year and do well consistently year after year.  This  year,  my students participated and placed in their categories and several  of my have students won a Kiwanis Scholarship and performed and done well in the Provincial Music Festivals

ENSEMBLES:
Students  have the opportunity to play in ensembles with each other. They usually perform them at our studio recitals and these are usually the audience favourite!
